Lifestylers for LIFE social media collaborative are holding an intimate evening of compelling stories from couture's deepest heart to raise money for the James Caan Foundation’s 'Build A Village' programme

Journeys from the Heart of Couture will bring together the world of luxury couture, charitable giving and enterprise to raise funds to rebuild lives and homes following one of the biggest natural disasters of our times: the Pakistan floods of 2010. Thanks to Rumi Lounge and the generosity of the speaking designers, 100% of the £25 ticket price will go straight to the charity.

At the event, three incredible fashion designers from the world of couture fashion will share their inspirational journeys, informally present their gorgeous collections and deliver positive messages to the flood victims of Pakistan The designers are:

Sima Vaziry
Sima’s collection of positive jewellery is inspired by Islamic architecture and art, and serves as a reminder of her birthplace Iran; a home she was forced to leave as a child. Her journey is one of courage and hope against all odds, sentiments that have influenced her creativity and designs. Sima is a sensation in the world of arts and couture jewellery and currently exhibiting at The British Museum. Now she'll tell you how her story of hope can inspire a nation
